Why the PGx101 Certificate Training Program?

PGx101 Pharmacogenomics Certificate Program delivers extensive foundational knowledge paired with highly-interactive exercises to train pharmacists to decipher and translate genetic tests, make appropriate recommendations for the patient, and counsel and collaborate with prescribers to help optimize patient medication regimens.

Engaging home study content teaches the principles of pharmacogenomics and its practical implications in disease states such as cardiology, oncology, neurology and infectious diseases.  The live session brings together much of the home study materials with more actionable content and case studies to provide attendees with comprehensive information that assists with PGx implementation in multiple practice settings.
